Le nombre et le champ d’action des commissions sont laissés à l’appréciation du conseil municipal. Les commissions n’ont pas de pouvoir de décision, mais elles ont un rôle essentiel d’examen approfondi des dossiers à soumettre au conseil municipal et d’une manière plus générale de discussion, de réflexion et de proposition.
